DANEL SPORTFISHING has been located in Grand Haven, Michigan since 1984 with the primary pursuit of big game Salmon and Trout on  Lake Michigan.  The Port of Grand Haven offers great opportunity for the Lake Michigan fishery of Chinook(King) Salmon, Coho Salmon, Steelhead, Lake Trout, and Brown Trout.

Grand Haven charter fishing season begins in early May and continues thru the summer months until mid October.  We welcome individuals, families, and groups to experience the thrill of angling on Lake Michigan. KIDS are always welcome onboard our vessels.

 As part of the Grand Haven Charter Boat Fishing Fleet, our experienced crews can accommodate large groups up to 100 people and we offer catered  packages complete with food and/or lodging upon request.

The Grand Haven area is a great summer destination for vacationers  with its beautiful beaches,  boardwalk, summer activities, and downtown shopping district all within walking distance of our location on the waterfront boardwalk at Chinook Pier.   Our docks are close to Lake Michigan, one of the finest freshwater fisheries in the world.  Local accommodations are available near our dock location.  

DANEL SPORTFISHING specializes in Salmon Fishing from the Grand Haven harbor.    For those who desire to just get out on the water, we also offer Scenic Cruises of the Grand Haven area.
